    E85R

    http://apps.ukipme.com/press_area/pr...to_indycar.pdf

http://www.racegas.com/fuel/18 (click expand on technical details for R=M/2 octane number)

Why isn't anyone tuning with this fuel? Besides the price, which is kindda high, It would seem like the perfect fuel for those tunning ethanol blends. This is especially good for folks wanting to push the vehicle with over 30% ethanol, since it's blended with anti corrosives. See page 27 of this document for what's needed to run 100% ethanol in non-flex fuel vehicles:

    http://www.ethanolrfa.org/page/-/rfa...pdatedLogo.pdf

(page 31 for regular E85's octane value R+M/2)

For folks with just E30 who want to race, this stuff should be just GOLDEN.

    Cost more than anything else.

Might as well look into non-ethanol race fuels at that point. The major advantage of E85 for example has always been it being touted as cheap race gas.

That said I'd like to see people try it.

Like everyone already mentioned its too expensive. Given the price, I'd just run C16 and have some spare o2 sensors on demand.

Price yes, but if E85 worked fine, and there was no benefit to E85R, why would professional race cars line the C6R in the Lemans series, use this stuff?

E85R is guaranteed to be a e85 blend and is has some lubricating additives. Most of the cost is coming from shipping. Trust me, a full 55 gallon drum is not cheap to ship.

If it was me, I would just get some e98.

At this price, E98 > E85. Beauty of E85 is its 1) cheap and 2) comes out of a gas pump, so you can fill up a 5 gallon jug or pump it directly into your car

If you're gonna inconvenience yourself and buy a 55 gal drum, buy the highest quality or just buy race gas and avoid the potential of ethanol's corrosive properties altogether

All of your threads are troll bait. Since you got no where with your last thread about E85 (where you refused to log anything and disagreed with everyone), you decided to make another post pretending like you want an answer to a question just so you can start arguing again. Ridiculous. When you get your answer instead of moving on you just start trolling. This is the kind of stuff people should get banned for if they keep it up.

Lulz_m3 answered your question honestly and you just gave him $#@!. What a waste of time and bandwidth.

It looks like you don't understand depth of field very well. That sprobably because I shot that picture with a camera and lense that costs more than the collective sum of mods on your car...

Weak. But at least it sound like you are calming down and trying to have a rational discussion. We all have our passionate points, and we can learn from each other, by airing them out. otherwise it's just bickering.
