    Question Meisterchaft X-pipe

Hey Guys, I have a bmw m5 e60 with eisenmann race exhaust system and I want to make my car louder by installing the Meisterchaft X-pipe. I was wondering if anyone had this combination before? Because I want to know if it would have a lot of drone inside the car for daily driving comparing to just the eisenmann exhuast.

Meisterschaft though sounds like a German name, actually is made in Korea and is not a good piece of exhaust. Welds aren't that good, fitment isn't nice and the customer service is bad. Their stuff definitely sounds very loud and harsh, but that's just it. Quality wise, it's crap.

If i were you i would get something else.

    No. They don't offer X-pipe. But, Super Sprint's X-pipe matches E-Race beautifully.

I have to dig up to find videos of my same setup but the video Sticky posted is close. SS X-Pipe gives your car a deeper growl at lower revs and a slightly louder scream at higher revs.

But regardless of the make, all of these X-pipes give you drone and after sometimes it gets really annoying. I give SS a slight advantage over Meisterschaft as Meisterschaft makes more drone. But it's good for MPG, cause you will find yourself driving in 6th gear at 30mph just in order to shut the exhaust up. Click here to enlarge

Im surprised to read that Meistershaft exhausts arent that good, from what Ive read when I was looking up this exhaust before I bought my car, people said this was a pretty good exhaust...and qaulity was one if it strong points..again, this is just what I read. I bought the car with the exhaust installed already..its the full system so I know the guy who had this car before me paid a pretty penny for this system..so far Im happy with it...

That's not a bad exhaust. It's just the drama this particular brand and eisenhaus created a while back and the pics i've seen about older products that made me walk away from Meisterschaft.

Oh I see..I wasnt aware of any drama, and Im not suer about the older products, but my exhaust looks pretty good, fitment is perfect and the welds are nice, but maybe I was one of the few lucky ones Click here to enlarge

Oh yes there was drama. Eisenmann Meisterschaft was a series of exhaust made by Eisenmann, but then EisenHaus came and copied the exact same exhaust and started selling it under Meisterschaft name (In that period they sold fake Kreisseig exhaust too). The quality was just bad. Search on M5board, 6Speedonline and M3forum. You will find threads about cracked welds and bad costumer service of Eisenhaus (Now it's called GTHaus).

Maybe the quality has improved. Maybe they build decent products now. But i do know one thing that they scammed people in the past and i'm not going to give them my money regardless of the product.
