Dealer work on X3 - Big Fail
The winter car, a first gen X3 begun to jerk this spring. The car has low mileage and was bought 6 month ago from an authorized dealer. It is in a very good condition and low mileage so I got 1 year warranty even though it is a 2005 year model.
After a few months it became jerky and felt like an AT switching gears randomly. It is a manual... The dealer got it back for repair. It took them 6 weeks to fix the car. They replaced a worn servo engine to the 4WD clutch pack. I told them the brakes didn't feel OK at all and probably needed a full service. They never bother to check this...
A week ago the problem returned so I disassembled the brakes myself and found the root of the problem, which killed the servo engine. The inner pads are completely worn and all front pads were totally stuck.
Finally, the car run as it should. Any Indy shop wold have found this fault in the first place and it is very annoying the dealer didn't found and fixed this as I addressed the brakes several times to them.

Update, the dealer called and told me I can fetch new parts w/o cost. Case closed and I'm happy with their service since they responded well to my complain and takes the extra costs.

Here is a pic of the car. As seen it is not a rust wreck, which would be believed by the appearance of the brakes.
