    PTF Logo

What do you guys think of our logo? This actually came from an artist down in the Maryland area, the original is made out of clay and its really cool. We made it our mascot and it made it into our logo. What do we call him? lol

Is this a rough draft or the actual finished logo?

I think the concept is great. Love the "eyes" and the overall feel of the character but the design needs a little more detail. Still keep it simple, and vector based for scalability and clarity, however, I think it needs some sort of color. Even if its a gradient based gray or something similar. Also, this won't print well on invoices or faxes (i know i know, who faxes) - it has a strong possibility of looking like a black blob. And having a solid black fill will ruin most chances of placing the logo over a dark background, limiting marketing collateral options.

Any chance you could whip up something as a proposal? We're open to suggestions on it...definitely looking to keep the design but not sure what it'd be in terms of shading that'd set it off better...if you have time to whip up some improvements in photoshop or illustrator much appreciated

I wish I could, however, I lack the skill.

If you'd like, I can send you a PM with the marketing/branding firm's contact info that handles all of my businesses advertising. They're an award winning firm with insane talent. And one thing that they really specialize in is character design like your original concept.

The logo looks very good in your avatar, unique, different and intense. The full size picture is debatable, I wouldn't use this size.

Congrats on the new dig! I see that you have a "Hello Kitty" kind of character!. Everything looks great but you need to revise that and make something else. Good job congrats on being a vendor

LOL we really liked it actually...its different than your typical logo and I guess the reason we jumped on it was because the original bot made out of clay was so weird/freaky in a good way Click here to enlarge We had a Toronto artist, friend of mine, also provide some ideas on it which are more along the lines of a pro logo that some of you others may have in mind...i'll try to find the original pics of the bot too and show them to you guys and see what you think

    here's what i got from a friend/artist:

I think your logo is fine, but the lines are a little to scribbly.

    How's this?

I'm a big fan of the pro logos... They actually all look good... and the top right emblem looks awesome Click here to enlarge

The bot is pretty cool because of the eyes, but it looks low-budget... =/ Let's see the clay model though, I'm interested in that Click here to enlarge

I like the bottom middle one, but I think it'd look a lot better with the colors (white/red) of that 1st bottom left one. My Click here to enlarge
