In my opinion if it takes you that long to catchup and win then you really lost. I don't understand why the Gallardo's don't launch. That GTR was out and an extra 100hp would seal the win.

Okay, if you wanna say the GTR rocks your socks out of the hole, then I won't argue. But my point is, this is an argument for the guy complaining about the realism of getting a chance to race at such high speeds. Its unrealistic. This is true but so is a 1500hp Gallardo. This is about top end baby. If you lived in Hawaii or Japan where there isn't much road, the Juke R would rock the socks on this 1000hp GTR.

Look at the reaction time of the gallardo, its literally almost a second from when it was clear to go. One second of lag and a horrible 60' launch will do that. I got a better 60' on my SS at the track with stock tires and needless to say i'm FWD. LOL. That lambo would eat the GTR alive much sooner if it had a better driver.

I'm not sure which car to say is better...there's a 500hp difference? So if the Lambo had the same as the GTR, it would've gotten seriously smoked. Also the Lambo's rear looked liked it was all over the place at the higher speeds...compared to the GTR.

    Fun to watch though.

It depends who you ask or what you're looking for. A hot looking girl who is not into cars will more often drop her panties for a guy with a Gallardo than a guy with a Datsun. From a car guys perspective you have to think about other things. Are you a car guy with a big budget? Are you a guy with a smaller budget? So many different ways to answer that question......so here is my answer:

I'd take the gtr over the gallardo, but that gallardo must be fun to drive! Rollercoaster on the street for sure.....Then again, i'd take the lambo, sell it, and buy a porsche 911 turbo to mod. Its all personal preference, cause both cars are fast. Must be nice to have the means to build them! lol

GTR is GTR, A Lambo is a Lambo. close to 335 vs M3 argument, only with an actual supercar being the high-end one..

Take them to a normal circuit, the GT-R will drive circles around that Lambo.
So the question becomes: Will you only use it for driving in a straight line or for a road course?
I know what I would choose. Let the Lamboo be, I'd take the GT-R anytime.

with a proffessional driver maybe, as with anything, its driver dependent.

GTR is supercar performance at a discount, part of being a supercar is its ability to be unobtainable by the masses

how many GTRs actually hit the road courses? how many lambo's do? what they were designed to do, and actually do, are 2 different things.

    I prefer a 500hp lambo over a 1000hp gtr, 2 different cars

I don't know how many do, but I've met both on circuits and I can tell you the GT-R is a point and shoot kinda car, versus the Lambo requires a lot more skills to drive, which not all drivers posess.
A GT-R on a circuit is increddibly fast. Very Impressive.

Kinda like a horse race. Fun to watch the come from behind. I hardly ever see a modded exotic in face-offs so this is a welcome vid at any outcome. Sad more exotic owners don't mod- of course the upcoming unmodded F12 vs anything face-offs are the tickets to buy.

The Gallardo had so much more power it was absurd.

The Gallardo is harder to launch and with so much more power needs to worry about the driveline.

You don't built a 1500 horserpower twin turbo Gallardo for the road course.
