He just posted on e90 and m3 post.....

    His quote saying why....

"Why? I am sure someone will ask. My decision wasn't made over night. I thought about it for awhile and finally last night I thought it was time. I saw myself already thinking about doing something else to this already fine vehicle. But then I realize how much headache this is going to be, am I going to really go through this again? That's when I told myself, let's end this. So here I am, posting for sale thread. Who knows, next owner might take this car to another level or simply drive daily with pure joy. "

Sounds like he does accounting for the government. I don't think I have $66k in my car and I have a much higher end build than him.

If he thinks he will recoup anything near that he is insane. I wouldn't pay $66k for that whole car.

So what was his big headache with his car? To me it sounds like he is trying to dump it before he sees more problems.

Seems this single turbo project isn't going as smoothly as Shiv wants to portray it. We all were under the impression these cars are working perfectly and the kits are ready to roll. Clearly not the case.

He isn't asking that, in fact he says he doesn't know what to list it at, but said he has $66k in it. I feel guilty modding my car sometimes lol, let alone dropping that much coin on a 335

I think the trans are dying, and after you factor in the kit plus trans, it's pretty expensive for what you get.

Oh sorry I thought he wasn't upgrading his trans due to cost.

If the trans is dying he should probably address that. I mean what's a another few K with that budget? Click here to enlarge

Of course he says it's perfect, he wants to sell it. Someone would have to be mighty foolish to believe it just like believing the $66k.

Oh it's nice I just don't like people who inflate mod prices and then expect to find a sucker to recoup.

Seems to me the single hype has really cooled off over at e90post, I can't believe there are no vids from the shift sector event...... Pretty disappointing.
I felt the same way being there. It was very anticlimactic. No offense to Shiv as I'm sure he has his master plan but isn't the idea to tune the cars BEFORE race day so you can show up and have fun? Surprised that car is for sale though I know he's always doing things with it.

The front seats are actually 4-5k usually, though there's a set on ebay for 6k right now.

BBS E88's are more like 6-7k depending on condition, those HRE's can't be much cheaper.

The rest of the interior stuff would account for another few grand.

Hmmm with labor, I think 66k might be plausible though a bit of a stretch.

I agree with the rest of the sentiment though, really weird that it just suddenly went up for sale. Missing from his mod list is a built trans from Level10 or the like, I'd hazard a guess that's the headache he refers to, having to pull it and ship the sucker across the country.

Didn't see any of their logs so I'm not sure exactly what was going on. Maybe same issue I had with my trans letting go (sending RPMs over 7000rpm) half way through 5th. But mine would work on some runs and not on others. And no codes. They were also talking about misfires, etc. Shrug.

.. My bad, 1247 POUNDS. Lol ouch. Guess that's what you pay for keeping airbags..

plus a few hundred shippin of course... You'd be bonkers to pay it though, you coukd pick any number of recaros/sparco/brides up for less coin..

why are bbs e88's so exxy? Lm's are only $1100 each rand new

I'm going to ask for $150k for my car with this kind of math. I'll adjust the prices for inflation too.

not 'used' prices, but brand new rrp's, no labour counted

ed: woah yeah bbs e88's are $6k+ a set? Motorsports wheels? Woah. He's selling them for $5500 tight now no rubber :/

btw, over here an m3 is $150k new no mod Click here to enlarge

you'd get it pretty easily with what you' ve done to it :p
