Before and After Vid: E46 323i Dinan Intake

Just giving the M54 some love (also considering moving the M54 in with the S54):

I have heard of some swaping the stock intake manifold for the m50 1's to pick up power as well.

Supposedly it is better to get rid of the dual stage butterflies.

Oh, and don't a lot of E36 guys prefer the M50 manifold over the M52 for some reason?

It flows better top end power. US model s52 motors pick up about 15-20whp with just the swap at times with alittle loss in tq below 3800rpms, but also seem to pick up tq above 4k rpm's. Its a good cheap mod since m50 intake manifold can be had for 50 bucks at times.

Also the m50 manifold flows better then the schrick intake manifold as well. Less heat soak then the schrick as well. I was once a n/a junky.
