What do you guys think about Avante Garde wheels? I am.thinking about getting zcp reps in black or the m5 reps for my 1m.

They are pretty nice and have attractive prices but are pretty heavy. If your concerned about performance they will probably be heavier than your OEM wheels. On a 1m I would try and get a lighter set of wheels if I were upgrading or going away from OEM.

The Avant Garde lineup of wheels are very popular among our customers. They're low pressure cast and do utilize the same manufacturing process as the majority of the OEM wheels that you'll find on BMWs. Since you already have the ZCP wheels on your 1M, you might want to switch it up and get something different. The AG M355 (F10 M5 style wheel) is a new design and is growing to be a new trend!

Thank you. I actually have been leaning towards the M355. I was able to configure these on a different vendors site in 9 x 19 et 25 and 10 x 19 et 18. That would be 6 mm in front and 7mm more aggressive in back. Perfect for me. If I can get these in those offsets, please Pm me a quote. I am guessing the weights of these will be close to the zcp?

The Avant Garde M355 wheels are available in the 19x9.0 ET15 up front and the 19x10 ET25 in the rear. This is the perfect fitment and will give you a nice flush look. Here are a few pictures of this exact setup on an E90 M3 which shares the same fitment as the 1M for you to check out how the wheels will sit.

Since we're major stocking distributors for both companies, VMR and Avant Garde, we do sell a ton of these wheels. There are lots of members on this forum who have those wheels on as well. If you do a search for them on this forum, you'll be able to find lots of people who either show them off or review how they like them, but you wont have a problem either way you go.

Just so you know...I inquired about these wheels and found they weigh 24 lbs for the front and 27 lbs for the rear. That's real heavy....and that was 335 fitment, I'm betting 1m is slightly more (bc they are wider). Your going to feel a loss of performance, if that matters to you....if it doesn't, go for it. They are a real sick looking wheel.

Actually I just looked and it's the same width for m and 335 , so that's the weight of those wheels

The stock wheels are 26lbs front and 26.8lbs rear so about the same. Anyone care to photoshop these in gloss black on a VO 1M?

I might, but the least you can do is provide the pictures of car and desired wheels...

    Thanks David!

The only pics available for the wheels are in this thread but they are not gloss black. I have pics of my car here: http://www.bimmerboost.com/showthrea...neys-installed

I can't post any side shots right now because I am on my phone. I will post some later.

    Dark, and gloss

I think you should go with gunmetal color, but that's just me.

The width on for the non m and m models are the same. The only thing that changes is the offsets (Lower on the m models).

+1 - I agree that the wheel looks much cleaner in the gunmetal w/ machined face finish!
