    Ok, so things like tom and jerry are definitely classic, but I'd have to place them in a separate category than say gargoyles or any series w/ a story line.

    Tom n Jerry, droopy dog and the like can be watched anytime, and give me a damn good laugh, AND some can still be found on television today (see cartoon network) but the others... =( sadly, they are a part of history now.

    Simpsons - eh, never was a big fan, and like southpark, were OK - not a classic in my eyes, but still funny Click here to enlarge like that donut episode.
