Dzenno this is great stuff!! can the RBs take more boost in the midrange?

Timing advance is amazing! but have you compared how much gain you were getting for advance? Have you reached the diminishing returns timing wise?

I think you're headed for the RB N54 power record (probably tonight) Click here to enlarge

Going off WGDC in midrange, yes, there's a tiny bit more in them it seems...goal is not to push them past 70-75% wgdc max...

Timing comments are in the post earlier...on ms109 it seems that about 19-20* was MBT for my car...

What's the current N54 power record? Key thing to realize is that this tune/numbers I'm showing is something I'm 110% comfortable running given datalogs are super clean and consistent. The only thing I don't like on pump gas is IATs with my current KL Racing (Big Tom) FMIC (which I bought for lowering pressure drop reasons, not for IAT control, as I always used to run meth). The car was/is setup for mostly pump+meth 99% of the time so that doesn't bother me much at this point.

My understanding is that folks running other intercoolers, like the Helix, are also seeing IAT rises of 50-60 degrees F when really pushing their cars hard.

My IATs were really really controlled well with the Helix at high boost levels, and that was with their V1 intercooler. Thing was amazing but to cool well it has to have considerable pressure drop so wgdc was going up higher than it does with my current choice at the expense of cooling.

Does anyone have high boost logs on any other aftermarket FMICs? I'd love to see them, maybe in another thread, no meth

Sweet results. 540rw or bust! Click here to enlarge Best I've done so far with RBs (stock heads of course) is 525rw at around 21psi and 14 degrees at peak HP. So if you can pickup say 15-20rw with head work it may justify it. Especially if someone is already tearing it down for a rebuild, etc.

I've done maybe 80 runs on them just trying stuff out. I only post the ones I think are relevant to whatever it is I'm talking about on the post. But of the ones I've posted I think this was the highest one. He has the OEM TMAP sensor, right around 20.5psi.

I would imagine e85 will let you run more timing resulting in more hp and dropping boost a hair to lower the tq a bit?

I'm somewhat scared of that tq # lol. We haven't seen how much tq the internals can hold. I'm glad you're pioneering this before me haha. Congrats. Great numbers.

Wow! I imagine your e85+meth map is going to get you close to 600hp. Insane. Do you think this can be attributed 100% to the headwork and gasket?
