It's a really long story. Suffice it to say Pro-EFI won't be used in HPF builds.

Well, I am going to end up with an E85 tune (probably 83%) maybe a E70 tune(68%) and most definitely a PUMP gas tune (93 octane). I will use octane booster on any rare out of state trips where only 91 octane is available. Any out of state 91 octane would be used only for EASY over land highway cruising anyway.

Not having a working pump gas tune is unacceptable. I will let everyone know of our final solution.

I DO have the Zoitronix sensor and gauge for E85 which is mandatory for running a 83% ethanol tune..really any ethanol tune. I think there was one case where some 50% blend got shipped to a gas station (California?) by mistake. I doubt any gas station is going to pay for a blown motor. I feel SO much better being able to monitor the percentage of Ethanol in REAL time.

Update: My build had yet another hold up...incompatibility of the HPF front support arm with the Bimmer world motor mounts...something about round vs oblong bushing fitting...
iN any event we have removed the STOCK motor mounts which we were very concerned with damaging and replaced with non solid, robust hard rubber Bimmer wolrd mounts. I have yet to hear of anyone tearing these mounts. I just did not want to commit the car to total solid mounts. We went ALL solid mounts on the differential which I still may change (to poly) if I cant put up with the NVA.
