    Schmeidmann S65B40 Headers

Looks like there is "another" header out there for the S65. Schmeidmann headers are priced at around $1430USD sounds like an incredible deal! The only other headers out there that are readily produced look to be the RDSport and Motorsport 24. I know a lot of the tuners that I've been speaking to state that there might not be much to be gained from headers, but I am still very much looking forward to the some true and tested dyno results from these headers. If anyone else has any more information out there, definitely keep us all posted.

Notice the many similarities and some differences between the 3 sets of headers. If there are gains to be made with any of the headers, I would strongly consider getting a set in the far future.

$1430? wow! Never heard of them though.

OT, What's RDSport's price? I like long tubes more than shorties.

They don't look bad but not as clean as the Motorsport 24 headers.

    No dyno I take it?

That price is amazing though compared to the rest of the market.

Much more than i expected. Are they relatively new? Searched a bit and couldn't find someone having them.

Certainly not a looker. And they look TOO similar to the M24 headers. Still very impressive price.

I personally think they look exactly the same as the M24 headers except with a little plate welded on one of the primaries. I have this assumption that both M24 and Schmiedmann have sourced these headers from the same factory...

I could be wrong, but I think the RDSport is the first header to come out for our cars. Unfortunately, there really is not much information out there. There might be dynos floating around from an avid E92 M3 owner who once had the RD 4.6 stroker. I'll see if I can dig it up some where.

And I agree, they look EXTREMELY similar to the M24 headers.

Do it!! With your attention to detail and data collection, you may be the one to put this whole theory of power with headers for our car Click here to enlarge

Had a discussion about these on another forum....
Supersprint has already made and tested headers for the E9x M3 .... the results was Zero gains so instead of ripping of the public which im sure some companies will do, they scrapped the idea.
