I asked this question and they have a solution for you guys Click here to enlarge They are able to accommodate anyone and everyone from anywhere, pretty impressive.

I'll believe this product is good when I see the flash tunes be able to keep more than 14lbs of boost on the N54. They hit a brick wall there, and nobody has been able to go past that. Enrita had GAIC work on his car for a long time, but they still couldn't get his car past that OEM limit point with a flash. Until then, it seems like a poor platform to flah the ECU vs. Piggyback

Well, we aren't necessarily debating ECU vs. Piggyback for the N54 here but this is a gigantic leap forward for everyone. Perhaps N54 flash tuning will be making some big steps soon as well? We will see what it can do vs. piggybacks soon.

So the N54 guys may still prefer piggy's but we will see how it goes.

I completely agree, Its just whether they can make a competitive tune that can take full control of the engine. No doubt though flashing the ECU at home is the best strategy if they can overcome the boost blockade BMW has made. I'm sure terry will release a flash as well once flashes have the capabilities of a piggy.

That would be another big breakthrough brought about by OE... quite a roll if that happens.

I'm not sure if Terry would do that as it would probably raise the cost. He can answer this though.

Awesome! Can't wait to see some results! Their website advertises 70hp/80tq gains but the dyno on their site doesn't seem to support that.

On the logging side, check out -

I'll try to dig up my N54 data on e ninty post...

    http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=350743&page=2

This is old data still using MegaLogViewer but it gives some idea of where things are going. Data is around ten samples a second for both N54 and MSS6x which makes it usefull. Codes and data from the field can be very helpful to a good tuner Click here to enlarge There always seems to be a difference between the dyno and the road.

On another subject, return to stock puts the stock calibration back on the ECU and the "flash counter" is not affected at all.

Welcome, but I'm not sure what this has to do with the topic at hand?

    My appologies.
The links show some of the work being done on the Data Logging portion of the programmer/logger. Someone mentioned the logging part of it and I wanted to provide a little information about what can be expected and not to hijack the thread. Jeremy should have screen shots of more current stuff over the weeks to come as he does more logging and analysis for the MSS6xs. I know he has been busy testing the latest programming releases but that workload should be slowing down shortly.

That is kind of a can of worms as it would involve supplemental work in addition to the HPF tune. As in, I'm sure their $#@! is encrypted and there would be stepping on toes blah blah blah. However, I'm not really familiar with HPF CEL issues and I would assume one would expect HPF to resolve it considering the way their kit is portrayed?
