I would assume it has the valve but that is weird, never heard of it happening before.

It's the same transmission as 335's MT but has different clutch and bell housing.

It prlly still has the cdv in it. Removing it should cure the problem, as will flushing the gearbox with fresh fluid.

im not exactly sure where it is, but on the 335 is a little black valve next to the transmission on the driver side. the clutch hose comes down, goes into the valve, then through the tubing up to the clutch slave cylinder thats bolted to the trans housing. That valve you can pop out, and if the clutch hose is long enough, you can just clip it right into the tube.

You might need a right angle pick, or something to pull the clip out (DO NOT LOSE THEM!), something to squeeze the brake line temporarily to stop all the fluid from coming out and some paper towels to clean up the mess you make. it will go right back together, and just pump the pedal 10-20 times and the feel should return to normal, but it should be a lot easier to operate, and give a lot better feel to the clutch.

CDV valve is bolted right in the slave cylinder.

And bleed the slave cylinder after removing it.

    No problem!

Should be at least there according to ETK.
We do not have manual S85s over here,so I only have first hand experience with SMG S85s.

The manual S85 Getrag gearbox is BTW similar to the used in the E39 M5...

Housing on these gearboxes is different.

    Most internals are the same.

No idea if bell housing is the same.

Have to try sometimes this week if the E39 M5 box fits onto the V10Click here to enlarge
