Is that Owen's? I LOVE that beast and that "twins on board" license plate holder Click here to enlarge

That vette picked up 90-100 wheel from just going to 3" dual downpipes instead of 2.5" it used to run Click here to enlarge

since this thread would otherwise be sent to the graveyard I decided to update it with shiv's latest post on e90. also it tells us exactly what octane was used, and when, to dispel any speculation of the airstrip event. the post also gives us insight into the progress of the 3bar MAP sensor that has been at the tip of vishnu's tongue for a while now. as well as a final goodie at the end.

So we've been doing a lot of real world testing lately. For the first week of testing, we were run running on a 94oct fuel mix. And at the Airstrip Attack event, we were running on 100oct unleaded. Since we got back, we've been running exclusively on 91oct expecting to find a performance degradation. Turns out that isn't the case. On 91oct (plus meth), the car is able to easily support 20psi of boost which translate to 585whp judging by the first dyno session we did a couple weeks ago. It's a cool day today (55F) so that may be helping a bit. But despite many back to back runs, I have yet to see any evidence of knock or power inconsistency. In other words, at 20psi, it's behaving just like it did running 100oct+meth. This means that having a 600whp daily driver is within spitting distance for us 91oct folks as well

    Datalogs at 19psi (3rd gear):

And it looks like our 3bar maps sensor will be at the dealership tomorrow which means that it's only a matter of days before we can safely run more than 20psi

And we just got our first run on production turbo manifold flanges. Quite a bit nicer than what was used for the prototype kit that is currently on my car:

Great news! Also, it has been mentioned that HPF has found a solution for their manifold and is in the process of tweaking it.

They stuck both the O2 sensors in the downpipe, which caused the DME to adjust the 2 cylinder banks A/F ratio improperly, making it impossible to dial in a stable A/F ratio.
