Yes even the less expensive fake "BigTom" IC is producing very solid numbers. If one doesn't mind some DIY work it has my vote as bang for the buck IC king.

Does that 135 have a LSD at all? I could only dream of that kind of 60 foot. Also, how much lighter are these than an E90 335?! What am I doing wrong?

Yeah it has a Quaife diff in it. It's maybe 150# lighter than a normal 135i with the seats out and K1s. And that is maybe 120# lighter than a 335i. So around 280# I'd guess. Goes to show with drag radials and enough torque a 1.6x 60' is possible doing a hard 2nd gear launch.

Damn, congrats. 11.3@125, realistic and at a "real" track so to speak.

What is the claimed stock turbo no nitrous record currently or is this it?

For 18 down to 15psi boost and a single cm10 this is mind boggling

The 11.2 was only 122.8mph, the 11.3s were 124.9 and 125.2mph, and the last couple of runs were "pathetic" 122-123mphs as they tried different launching and shifting techniques that didn't work out. Boost was 19psi tapering to 15psi at redline and advance was consistently close to but not quite maxed out.

The real stock turbo no nitrous ET record was held by OldBooster who did 11.39 no-nitrous, but he got no respect on that, so it fell over to one of our other customers who ran 11.50. Anyway our 11.25 run is definitely a record. The 125.2mph is also a record. Very thrilled with how the engine is running. Hope the trans hangs together a little longer! Click here to enlarge

It's like the Z06 comparison. For the 135i to run low 11s you need to buy every possible mod, run meth and race gas, drag radials, and pray you get to drive the car back home. For the Z06 you just need $2k in mods and can do it on pump gas with a suitcase in the trunk. Still, it's fun having a 135i that can hang with some of the bigger fish in the sea. Yes as far as I know, we hold em all, including the N55 track records. Of course we won't be able to compete with 600rw+ single turbo cars but that's never been our objective anyway. Although, we're making a JB4 board specifically for large turbo cars that includes support for single turbos. So as soon as someone knocks off a good manifold for $1000 we'll be in business there. BMS (Burger Motorsports) sets new quickest and fastest stock turbo N54 records in their JB4 powered 135i, 11.2 ET and 125 mph

Congratulations to BMS (Burger Tuning / Motorsports) for raising the bar on stock turbo N54 performance yet again. The vehicle used was a E82 135i steptronic with a JB4, down pipes, dual cone intake, CM10 meth setup, FMIC, and race gas. The mile per hour (fastest) record in the 1/4 came on a run of 11.3@125.24. The elapsed time (quickest) record came on a run of 11.259@122.86. The trap speed dropped a bit with the better ET which is not surprising considering it came on a much better 60 foot. These records were set at Famoso Raceway which is a decent track but certainly not the best strip for setting records.

Congratulations once again to BMS! Slips and video below.
