Really sick. I would like to see the speedo though. See how steady it climbs up etc. Does the tracktion control apply the brakes to each tire as well or is it just for timing and boost.

Curious, is this type of traction control only available with the AEM?

my bet is the AEM traction system controls the timing. and really that's all you need. (with a closed wastegate) advancing timing results is more boost, reducing or retarding timing results in less boost. the factory DSC can control the brakes because it is part of the ABS. this AEM controler is only ecu related afaik, so it can only control engine related functions. it works well, as shown in the video. as for a speedo shot, it should be fairly smooth as controlling timing allows you to slowly ramp up the power or boost, effective in the rain.

no sir. many companies have employed this approach. even shiv! as much as you hate the man. the procede's traction control works by controlling (retarding) the timing. i don't know if terry has something similar for his jb4 but it shouldn't be hard to implement. the hard part if any would be making it work smoothly.

I understand and I don't hate that guy first of all.

Secondly, I think you misunderstood me as essentially I'm asking if the Pro-EFI tuning option for turbo E46 M3's can do the same.

oh my bad, i didn't see this was the s54 section. i do like to venture out from the n54 section, but i didn't infer that you were only asking that question in regards to products for the s54.

and as for shiv, i feel you do hate him, almost a kind of love/hate thing. although i agree entirely that he should pay for vendor status if he wants to post information himself, but from the posts about him (that you make) there is at least a hint of anger/frustration. anyway this is definitely not the thread for this discussion. sorry to go off-topic on this post.
