Thanks! Sometimes the rasp can be a bit overbearing, but overall I am very pleased with the setup.

Right now, I am contemplating picking up a Supersprint XPipe with Resonator.

In addition, I am tossing around some muffler ideas; Supersprint Street or Dinan.

If I don't go with those said aftermarket brands, I have also considering having a shop fabricate a custom XPipe and Mufflers to change the tone and pitch of the car, while retaining low volume. We'll see, the remainder of the exhaust isn't my top priority right now, since I do enjoy how it is.

As always, I will keep you all posted! Thanks guys!

Here's a photo of where the placed the suction cup. The camera itself was actually upside down.

I then changed the setting for the video to be "upright" even though the camera is upside down.

I used the closed cover to reduce wind noise.

You should look into the little wig/wind covers that go over the back of the GoPro...used one while I was filming my CSL install and it takes a lot of the residual wind noise out, especially if you have it in the windstream.

Nice! I may have to look into that.

Do you have a link to the covers you were using?
Do you also have a link to your CSL Airbox videos?!?!

    Blackstone Laboratories Oil Analysis
I finally sent out my very first sample of oil to Blackstone Laboratories! Having seen a handful of members coming up with less than desirable results, I was a bit nervous. I did have the Rod Bearing Recall nearly a decade ago conducted by my local BMW dealer. Despite that, some race shops have told me that they are not permanent fixes. In the end, I am rather thankful that my results came out perfectly clean!

Over the 11 years of ownership, I have always done oil changes every 7500 miles. It was only the past year or so when I started changing oil every 5000 miles. To the say the least, I am very pleased with the results. I was actually preparing to do an rod bearing upgrade, but I may postpone those plans a bit further.

Yup! Thankfully so! Unfortunately, there have been quite a few people discovering that the rod bearings on the S54B32 are wearing down a bit sooner than expected. With many E46 M3s teetering over 100,000miles, people are now starting to realize that rod bearing replacement should simply be a normal maintenance item.

I'm just glad to know that I have some life left in mine Click here to enlarge

Alex, good to see that the oil results came back clean. That puts me at ease too (temporarily at least), since my bearings were done under the recall. Also, i like the strategy of stockpiling parts Click here to enlarge

Finally crossing things off the to-do list...
I had some free time this morning to do some quick and easy installs...

Beisan Systems Solenoid Coil Pack and O-Rings
Install was very straight forward. I ran into some silly hiccups that kind of prolonged the install. After a bit of frustration, everything was bolted up with perfect idle and drivability.

Old vs New VANOS Solenoid Bolts. Sturdy Torx vs Prone-to-strip Hex.

AKG Motorsport RSM and RSM Reinforcement Plate
Very quick swap coming from the RE RSM. Ignore the double nut on the RSM, I will be replacing this with a Genuine BMW OE locking nut.

    ...more AKG Motorsport parts
I didn't have time to quickly swap out my RTABs with the AKG Motorsport 90As. I also picked up the AKG Motorsport Delrin Brake Pedal Bushing and Shifter Housing Bushing.

Thank you so much for the compliment. I really do enjoy putting together this stuff for the sake of my own record keeping and for the entertainment of fellow enthusiasts.
