Turbo S38's are a thing of beauty.

Who built this? A Euro car right? Is there a graph? Serious, serious power.

It's a Euro car, don't know the specs other than a large turbo in that engine bay.

Yes, there is a graph but I was hoping for a JPG, as in, posting a graph outside the video. Click here to enlarge

that looks like a gt42r compressor cover. I'm not sure if that cover goes on anything else. so much displacement, so much head. not fair.

I don't know why bmw thinks they need more cylinders. They just need more of those same six cylinders, in a row. M3s should be 4L straight six, 8+krpm, NA- which competes with a gt3rs4.

The S38 is one of the best motors they ever made. Take into account when they made it and it is all the more impressive. More impressive than an N54 Click here to enlarge

m88 was developed in the mid 70s. iirc, it's a bavaria engine platform that gave it birth. do want m1 turbo.

Well .. i have an E30 CABRIO with S38B38 + E30 M3 5 lug+brakes.. the car is 3200 lbs dryweight,, i have been sprinting against N54 on the German Autobahns.. and belive me how pissed and utterly surprice the drivers are when i start pulling away from them,, and as the speed increase i disappear,, they almost cant belive an old E30 busted them,, and a convertible ,, but with the top up, i love how grumpy they are when i let them pass me ,, NB .. all drivers were driving on German licence plates

i have 13.28 and 107 mph ,, at the strip on 3.73 LSD tires 17" 245/35 and 36 psi,,, not bad imo for such a heavy car

S38=Awesomeness. It has the record for the most powerful BMW engine, right? except the S85 from Vidas Motors.
