    Thumbs up 126.6mph

It was very hard to get traction..ambient was 3-6C...still managed to beat my previous personal best of 11.9 with an 11.5...with a solid launch and a proper 1-2 shift hoping to get to low 11s

Pump gas + meth, full weight, same setup I ran for that 8.0 60-130 recently

This was run on Kosei 17" DRs back and 17" Apex with 225 winters front .. The tire diameter of the front is 1" shorter than rear (24 front 25 back)...if I get some time I'll hit the track one last time this weekend with a heavier front 19" wheel (25lb) but with a summer 245 performance tire ...

Does anyone think having a lower diameter winter tire in the front than on the back impacts the trap speed at all (24 front and 25 back)? I thought it'd be fine, maybe just raise tire pressure higher than 35psi on it??

A few other runs showing similar traps:

This was Cobb stage 3 race (20psi to 16psi but on my car with stiffer than stock wastegates this was 21psi down to 18psi near redline...about 20 runs not a single issue

Man that is MOVIN!!!!! very very impressive! best time I have got is a 12.2 and Iam FBO Click here to enlarge I want to break into 11's soooo bad!! This 12.2 run was on street tires though so maybe if I put some real rubber on the back, I might get to reach my goal Click here to enlarge Congrats!!

Nice runs and times. Just wondering, what did lostmarine do on his glory run? I believe 11.2@127.x right?

    Thanks guys

Jb4 is always plugged in but only used for gauges, shift light and logging...this is also on a map from Cobb which isn't done yet...my AP got corrupted with the recent beta firmware update and I'm waiting until next week to fix it so I can log a few more runs and hopefully finalize it

11.1@127...damn automatic..I'm losing 0.35sec in the 1-2 shift on avg and 0.25sec in the 2-3...if I can get those perfect and eliminate a bit of bogging that I felt hopefully I can come down closer ET wise...

Initially I was running 30psi in the DRs and that's how I got the 126.6...then I got them down to 19psi and traps suffered a bit (126.2 best after) but I got a 11.5 instead of 11.7...

I really wonder if switching to a summer performance, although heavier tire, in the front will help as my front rear diameter aren't equal and winter vs summer compound...on the other hand maybe just higher pressure in front on winters is better as they're lighter, who knows but really we're talking maybe another 1mph I think max is there with this tune and I could get it to 11.3 if I'm lucky with the launch and 1-2 shift

Drop all the weight, run race gas on top of meth and it will be 128 plus. Nice run

I guess that's next on the agenda...they have pro racing fuels mark 4 112 octane unleaded for high compression engines (up to 15:1 compression) and mark2 102 octane for up to 12:1 compression also unleaded...given no knock with pump+meth which octane would you go with...every single thing I read online suggests too much octane may hurt traps as it may slow the burn rate too much..not sure if it's applicable here but should I stick with mark2 (102 octane) or go for 112...my gut feel is 102

Thanks man...oh by the way I love the fact this runs 3-8deg less timing than stock and still allows for such high traps...I think the car can see a bit more timing advance or even higher boost (provided a 3bar tmap is wired/configured) especially on race + meth and this cold weather

I believe there will be some gains with additional timing. Hopefully ATR drops before first snowfall (unlikely) and you can run a glory map with 11.5 AFRs, 21 psi sustained and an aggressive timing curve. Click here to enlarge 130 MPH or bust!

Grats again! Awesome traps speed and damn respectable 60' for an MT. Sweet driving all around. Respect to that Cobb race map.

Get your 60' down to the 1.6x's, remove your seats, dump in some race gas and nail your launch and shifts...... I'd say you have a shot at taking the trap and ET record for no n2o
    07 e92 335i Best run: 11.83@ 120.04 w/ 1.84 60' & 2127 DA

All I gotta say is, the race map he's running is not that easy to get off the line. In due time though.

What makes it hard to do so? IMO, no higher boost 6MT n54 is easy to get off the line because of the rapid boost build and the loads of torque it produces so quickly. One needs a 2 step or a very steady foot to get a consistent launch with a manual. 1.6x's are more than possible, you just have to find the sweet spot between bog and excessive spin..... easier said than done though, I know Click here to enlarge

Nothing to do with the power output, more so the throttle mapping isn't ready for public release yet.

That's the plan, track should be open tomorrow one last time before closing for winter so hopefully weather is nice..I've setup my WOTBox for 2-step and no lift shifts as well we'll see how it goes...my DRs are almost or already done after last night...I was making a smoke show every single run as its really cold out and if you don't line up and go right away tires get cold again really fast and the next thing you know is no traction and tons of wheel hop...those DSS axles though are the shiznit and absolutely none of it would be possible if it wasn't for my AR line lock, stupid easy to do burnouts all day no drama
