    lets talk map 6

Guys, I need a little guidance. I've been playing around every so often with map 6 on my JB4 trying to find that ''sweet'' spot for highest output vs cars liking. There's a few settings other than boost/rpm to adjust so for you guys that have went the the track and had great success with times that confirm that...would you mind sending me a pm with your settings. I'm going to the track in two weeks and I want to be in good standing when I go. Thanks in advance.

    Car:
    Spearco FMIC
    Cat**** dps
Meth(just want pump gas settings for now)
    JB4

For all intents and purposes, map 3 with proper additive is your best bet.

    What he said^^^

Or Send some logs over to Terry. He'll be able to tell you what to tweak to find that sweet spot.
I was able to get down to the low 12's and a decent trap on map 6. Only reason I was using map 6over 3 was because of a faulty FS.

I only have a MAC computer so the only time I get to log is when I borrow my buddies laptop...and it's a POS, crashes etc. That's why I was hoping to get some settings from you guys. I have my meth mapping figured out. I'd just like to have my map 6 solid or close to it with minor tweaks when I get the opportunity to log.

Map 3 is mapped pretty much spot on. Peak boost is from 5000-5500 RPM and tapers -3 psi to redline. You won't gain much if anything from adjusting boost targets on Map 6.

I wouldn't play with 6 and go by how the car "feels". Your car may not take too well to another cars settings. Too many variables. There is no way for you to know what's going on unless you log it. I would stick to map 3 until you can do things right.

With meth stock turbos you'll only use map 3 with whatever additive your meth setup can support. If you happen to have the CPS module map 6 can be handy for dialing in a high boost low advance mapping for pump gas, but we're working on some of the fueling end bits to make that work properly right now.

^Ok, yeah I was only look for pump gas max output settings. My FSB/meth combo is working great. Just wanted a fast map for when I wasn't running meth. Good to know you're working on it.
