That will do nothing. Save money for a turbo kit, and take it to a proper shop. Even before you have that done get the rear subframe reinforced with a kit from Turnermotorsports.com, or speak to Matt Cambertoe. He is a vendor on here, and can help you out with that stuff.

Technique Tuning is the best option for an E46 non-M.

For the E36 you have several options.

    Technica Motorsports

I'm not sure why that came out like that, but they are located in GA and their kits are 5400 bucks. I'll see if I can get them to post over here today to give us more info.

i called them yesterday, he said the sunroof was all put it and the the engines done and runs purfect.."BUT" now apparently the motor for the sunroof only wants to open instead of close so he's looking around for the used parts or a whole used motor...blahh this cost just keeps going up xD

so should be done tuesday or weds. unless he goes to bmw it'll be done monday he said.

1000 did that include the price of the motor? I know a lot of shops will charge much less for just a simple swap like that.

    $1000 doesn't sound too bad.

1000 for the swap and 1600 for the engine, it has 42k miles on it which is pretty decent for the price, $2600 total

If you had a blown head gasket why do you need to replace the whole motor. 1600 for a m52 is pretty high. You can find them for 800 bucks, or you could have gotten a used head. I suggest you not go back to those guys. You could have gotten a motor, and had it installed for about 1600.
