Exhaust residue on tips, driver side has 2x-3x more then passenger side?

Ive been noticing this for months but never really bothered me alot, but i was curious to see how everyone elses car is.
I have straight pipe in place of my secondary cats and resonator.(fully divorced piping) Stock DP at the moment.
I have no exhaust flap in the back its deleted.

My driver side exhaust lets off alot more exhaust residue then the passenger side. Any idea why this might be?

Both exhausts are completely speperated no x pipe or H pipe.(since i removed the resonator)

I like to keep my tips clean and after a short drive, the driver side is 2x dirtier then the passenger side. Car is running well never had a problem with it, running strong and boosts well. Oil level is spot on for a year now and never see white smoke.
Can it be a case of that the passenger side exhaust just has more curves? and doesnt allow as much residue to escape?

Here are some pics off my blackberry:
Passenger side exhaust (the side which isnt letting out alot of residue)

Here are some pics of the straight pipe that replaced my resonator and secondary cats. There is no X pipe or H pipe in the exhaust.
I was thinking maybe the bends and curves on the passenger side would be restricting one exhaust more than the other? While the driver side exhaust is pretty straight with less bends and crush points.

When you start your car the passenger side exhaust is not open, only when it warms up does the exhaust gas or carbon build up come from that side. This is why your drivers side tip has more residue, it happens with my stock exhaust set up as well so, that's my guess.

You're right DopedUp. Before I did the golf tee mod, I did get more noticable residue on the driver side. After the mod, it sort of evened out on both sides.

He mentioned that he doesnt have an exhaust flap anymore, so the golf tee mod is out of the question.
OP, can you elaborate? How did you get rid of the exhaust flap?

there is another thread here or on n54tech that mentions bad O2 sonds causing one bank to run rich, maybe the OP can log this behavior using the BT cable and see if one bank is "off" causing the DME to inject to much fuel, if this is the case it might be bad for the turbo on the "rich" side to...

No clue, though the original suggestion (I think) was from @Terry@BMS maybe ask him for some support?

I had this issue on my G35 coupe some years back when I was running a full header-test pipe-cat back exhaust set-up and I saw an extreme amount of carbon build up on my drivers side exhaust tip when compared with my passenger side exhaust tip...not sure if that helps but it's worth shot.

It's possible one of your banks could be running lean.diagnostic revealed that was my issue which they believe accounted for the uneven build-up...I reverted back to stock and the issues disappeared.

Went fully ******* and was checking on the black residue or to see if i would
get white smoke or anything out the back.

I can confirm my exhaust is not
letting out any type of abnormal smoke of any kind.

But when i do get on
boost it is letting out black smoke out the back. And the driver side is still
producing 2x more black smoke/residue then the passenger side.

    Here are
the 02 top sensors off the DP's, the more blackish one is off the front turbo DP
    aka the driver side exhaust.
That DP was black!!!!! while the passenger side
    was pretty clean.

My oil level has been rock solid aswell.Click here to enlarge

    Likely the same issue here.

Gonna actually go test out now what the AFR's is in the different banks. It seems with catless DP's it is a little less but still uneven.

Just to be clear, you DON'T have the OEM mufflers (so they are not connected in the middle)?

If so, I thought I read that the turbo's don't allways spool up at the same time (I know it sounded odd to me too), so perhaps the rear turbo seals are on their way out and "burning" a little bit of oil and leaving a residue?

    X...
