Regarding a remote start, I don't believe that is possible.

For your exhaust, you should definitely consider an Eisenmann setup from IND: http://ind-distribution.com/pdf/2009...price_list.pdf

This is what it sounds like:

You may also want to consider the PBX tune from BMS which is very well priced: http://burgertuning.com/BMS_Power_Box.html

The exhaust is a nice upgrade from stock, and the PBX tune will give you I think almost 10whp iirc?

Terry help me out on this.

PBX is the way to go. Matched up with your intake and an exhaust, you should really see some significant gains.

Well, better than it was. With a 330 there isn't much one can really ask for.

Honestly, it is just better to get a 335.

For now all N52 has exhaust, tune and intake... Have to wait for forced induction. Or you can buy the ARMA supercharger for 12,000$ LOL.... tbh you're better off saving up your money and buying a 335 and getting JB3... That's what I'm doing Click here to enlarge

Click here to enlarge I was semi keeding when using that word, but yes the 330 isnt the greatest platform for modding. 335/M3 e36/46 would be the better moves to make.

Get a Gintani tune. There are now OBX headers out as well. For exhaust I recommend going to a good exhaust shop gutting everything from second cats and back, then weld up a single Magnaflow muffler part number 11xxx/ 12xxx depending on size of pipes, then weld some Magnaflow tips. It will be much much cheaper than a heavy aftermarket catback, and will give you more performance gains than an expensive system. On my E90 328 I had race pipes and saved 75 lbs on exhaust, then 120 with seats, then lighter wheels.

You really need to shed some weight to make your 330 feel fast. You are lucky that you already have a 3 stage manifold, because it's about $1500 for parts and a tune.

As far as power goes with headers, full exhaust, and a Gintani tune you would be 280-290 at the crank, but if you would have shaved some weight with the exhaust. 10:1 lbs:hp.

i wonder what the difference is between 330i in the US and in the middle east because in the middle east they are rated at 270 hp and are still being sold along with 335i 325i and 320i... is it simply BMW programming or is there a physical difference?

Ok, in the European Market they are rated at 272 ps, which is 268 hp. Is that maybe what you were thinking?

yeah that's exactly what I meant, arent they rated at 255hp here in the US? so thats a 12hp bump... add a PBX, intake and exhaust and you're talking close to the 290hp range. I think?

with all this forced induction stuff i forget how to judge an NA motor!
