Is there anything that could be welded into that 5 inch diamiter pipe that could potentially reduce turbulance or increase velocity on a non-catted model? It seems to me that a huge chamber like that your going to loose some exhaust energy and scavenging, or is the massive lack of backpressure enough to show great gains like this?

You want the reduction in backpressure.

What fuel was used with these tests?
93 Octane Sunoco. This is great to see this make front page! Should be interesting to see what other's can make of these DP's with FBO + Meth and eventually bigger turbos. Next time I go down to CP-E, hopefully I can run a few more dynos to see if a new FMIC made any difference to smooth out the torque.

Idk much about their charge pipe. I've seen pics of it online. I think it's rebranded as BMS?

So excuse my density, but is this catless or catted? Seems quiet for a catless, which is not a bad thing.

I believe there are options for both.

Catless. The quietness is because of the exhaust, not the downpipe. If you mate this with the HPF exhaust you will hear it many bridges away.

Sure would like to see a flow comparison between the CP-E 5" catalytic equipped and the stock N55 catalyst. Would be surprised if CP-E published such.

Well, called CP-e and they said spun catalyst will pass emissions. Might have to verify that soon.
