Not better then before the upgrade.
    Probably will need some.more.time.I guess.
Only problem I had with the old brake was that they overheated at trackdays.
Other than that they were perfect.
And I have the same brakepads, (new ones), so it should become the same, just more heat resistant.

I must say, the brakes really came alive after that.

    ANd they look the business.

I was looking to get these rotors and some cool carbon pads. How have they been finally? Did you take that trackday? That's exactly why I was thinking of getting these.. Thanks for any input.. will probably go with some stainless steel lines too.

I actually missed the last trackday opportunity.
So I've only driven them on public roads.
They perform the same.as my old rotors, which is pretty good.

Stock pads have a lot of initial bite, so dont be fooled into thinking your new pads dont stop well. There is just more modularity built into the aftermarket pads. Instead of starting out at 25% stopping power just by touching the brake, you start out at 0% all the way up to 100%. I got cool carbon pads and when I bedded them in (the stoptech way) I was freaking out because they had no initial bite. That part is normal, but you should be able to kick the ABS on with a firm depression of the pedal. If you are driving through your brakes something is wrong.

The strange thing is, I replaced rotors and pads, but the pads are the same.as original.
Still, the initial bite is not the same.as the old pads.
Brakes perform very well besides that, just takes a little more initial paddle force.
Once some heat is in them they become way better on initial grip.

I have nothing but good things to say about cool carbons. Albeit on stock rotors. BUT YOU MUST BED THEM IN PROPERLY or they will suck. I did the aggressive bedding process, 10 heat cycles from 60 to 10 back to back.

Shouldn't be a problem doing that right after install..
