enrita, those AFRs are seriously unstable and dangerous...i'd never run that on my car...have shiv dial in that AFR a bit better if he can but I can tell you that one of the two main reasons I went with a flash at this point is exactly that AFR situation with the leanrun at the onset of WOT...

on that red curve especially, wow, you're hitting full boost while running horribly lean for 400rpms...at 20psi and a few back to back runs that can't be good and I can bet your timing dropped in that log in the same spot going much lower than targetted with the stock timing curve

Maybe a stupid question is the virtual dyno software calculating whp or bhp?

I wouldn't take the numbers you see on it to the bank either. I think it works good to check for a LARGE error of margin delta gains....probably up to 15% off. Before using the numbers from virtual dyno, I would want a real world dyno to compare to for any car.

    very nice, which maps?
Are you running a lower boost response than 100%? top end seems extremely strong.

Not sure about the maps , i think 14/7 . The latest before autotuning have been released again. Will have to check again to be sure.
Boost response is 100% but this is a run on map 4 so boost is transitioning from UT55 to UT85 when meth kicks in. I also went slowly to WOT to prevent kickdown. Top end feels extremely strong , timing is around 10 degrees the whole run and climbs to 13.5 degree on max rpm.

Probably because it is. From what I've seen it's not very accurate or consistent with numbers. I've had between 315 and 550 hp since Ive been testing. Once time it told me I had 700 lb/ft at 280hp!

FWIW I also had widely varying results using JB4 logs, just as varied and crazy as yours actually. For whatever reason using this application with the Cobb, logs are very very consistent, I have actually yet to see a anomaly...now I'm not even remotely claiming these #'s are realistic, but we're gonna find out in about an hour.

Agreed, use smoothing 5. Also I've had issues with my numbers being high and i found out if I didn't format the "time" fields a certain way I'd have skewed numbers.

So did anyone ever overlay the ASR vs. RB cars?

I don't think there is a virtual dyno yet of a ASR equiped car.
But i think it would be nice to make a thread where we can compare these virtual dyno's , at least if everybody stick to the correct settings and we can make a list of the correct weights of the various models available.

I haven't seen ANYTHING from an ASR car.....no videos running hard - just one at low low boost, no time slips, no logs....nothing. If someone can point me to some I'd like to look.

ASR customer car? or ASR's 1? they have a bunch of race videos. they also have a 1-mile slip and video on street tires and racegas at ~180mph. but you're right, ASR customers have not posted data either because they have not done it or because they don't post on forums. this statement will be old soon though. as soon as i fix my brake issue i'll be sure to hit up a local dyno, or at the very least, post a log for Irishace to convert into the Virtual dyno software.
