    NBA playoffs 2010 thread

So... Mavericks are gone. I love Dirk but why the hell can he not get it done? Man just doesn't have the interior toughness and power forward needs. They might as well just make him a small forward and let him shoot all day like he wants to.

I don't know why the Spurs just won't die.

He has like 3-4 more good years left in him.

Without Dirk though... who would the Mavs get? They won't land Lebron or Wade. Then again, maybe Cuban will give them private jets.

The Mavs need someone tough and a good inside presence.

im just really sick of him choking when it counts.
haywood was a really good addition to the team. he brings presence in the interior which dampier couldnt bring anymore. i'm not really sure who is a free agent this summer but knowing cuban he is going to get someone good.

Haywood was a sweet move but is he a starter? He disappeared at times. I thought Butler was a good move too but he only showed up for one game in the series.

Maybe he will get Amare? That would be sweet. The Suns and Mavs will probably just swap Amare for Dirk.

haywood is mostly there to get rebounds. Butler is solid. He got 19 points per a game in the playoffs which is pretty good. The team revolved around dirk shooting the ball.

I would love to get amare but who knows what happens. Cuban was thinking about cleaning house in the summer before he made that trade to get haywood and butler.

Hopefully they close it out tonight but I don't mind the Thunder winning. Just not really a Laker fan.

Phoenix and SA is going to be an awesome series.

Out East it will be the Magic and Cleveland.

    Orlando is unstoppable.

Is Shaq really enough to stop Dwight Howard? That is what they got him for after all, because he is pointless otherwise.

And the Spurs are gone... and the Lakers will beat the Suns.

Really would love to see Phoenix go to the finals though, most exciting team to watch.

Still can't believe they swept the Spurs.

    3x sweeps:

    Spurs...Hawks...Suns....! All went 0-4.

    That is just sad.

If cleveland does manage to beat Boston, I don't think shaq will be a good match up against dwight...

Dwight was swatting the balls away like flies...he even tried to grab em right out of the air!

Mike Brown is a $#@!ty coach, period. This guy should have been fired last season.

Lebron will leave, Cavs go back to being junk.

Anyone think it won't be LA vs. Boston?

Phoenix does not have the size to go toe to toe with the Lakers.

The Magic might as well not even show up for game 4. How does a team that sweeps the first two series end up looking like they aren't even a professional caliber team?

Time to force Game 7. I just hope it isn't only Kobe who shows up to play again.
