    He's talking about curb weight.
    That is curb weight. The BMW quoted weight is with luggage and something else I believe.

    Both of ya'll can be 100% correct.

    Now if I remember correctly

    DCT adds 80lbs
    Sunroof + no carbon roof adds another 60lbs + or minus
    Also opting for full leather seats adds weight over "speed clothe"

    What's cool is you can get a 3550lb 6 speed, carbon roof M3. Opt for the BMW performance seats which deducts roughly 100-120lbs, and BMW performance exhaust -40lbs +or - and have a "show room" stock E92 that weighs in around the same as an E46 M3 optioned out. Love it


    I think the O.P should change the info. STOCK E92's don't dyno 387. Maybe on a dyno-pack that eliminates that wheel loss, but average cars going 330-350whp stock.

    The DCT does add a bit of weight but I have seen them weigh in (as a coupe, no sunroof) at ~3560.
