Cool VIDS: RB Turbo BMW 335i - NoLiftShifts with WOTBox and COBB Stage 1 OTS tune :)

Here's some vids on a closed road in Mexico...this is with one passenger, full weight, 19" wheels, no meth, pump gas and full trunk of picnic stuff Click here to enlarge

LOVE IT! Click here to enlarge Should be around 420whp given about 12psi at 6k rpm...stage 1 boost curve, as can be seen on the boost gauge, hits 15psi then tapers towards 12 at 6k rpm...not shown in the vid, it'll hit about 9.5-10psi at redline so I shift at around 6krpm...plenty fast for pump gas and safe 4 deg less timing that the stock curve...

WOTBox cuts ignition perfectly between shifts with minimal, if any at all, impact to tranny/clutch...money shifts FTW!

Stage 2 coming soon Click here to enlarge

Very simple looking device that brings a world of joy to 6MTs Click here to enlarge Its a unit that "taps" 3 wires in your ECU and "intercepts" the main coil ignition wire to pwm it in accordance to CPS...it allows for 2-step launches at a preset RPM as well as no lift shifting without damage to the clutch and overrevving..

Well, I worked with the WOTBox guys (Jon and another guy) on getting it done...off the shelf it couldn't recognize N54 CPS so I had to help them out a bit and research/provide info...I was their test car and now its been brought to the N54...i'm sure M3 wouldn't have any issues either...

I did however datalog the living $#@! out of it using the BT tool to ensure that when ignition is cut by this box and brought back after the shift that AFR was in check...the cool part is that the DME automatically, virtually immediately after igniton is cut, also cuts fuel so shifts are smooth as butter and there are no nasty backfires...

I see, so is this already officially available or will it be coming for the N54?

Seems like one could just add this to a Cobb and JB4 and have the little extras like the 2-step.

This way it doesn't tax hardware and doesn't generate unwanted attention.

You don't have to lift and you will shift so fast it doesn't matter.
