I cant imagine a car that accelerates that fast and to imagine being on a bike that fast well, I just dont think I can even comprehend it.

Nice vid but just sounds so awkward for European dudes with heavy accents to try to talk tough in English.

Anyway, the Gallardo was catching up top but the bike took it pretty easily.

Yeah those accents were just too hard not to laugh at!
And I also noticed what you said about the Lambo catching up;the track had some wet spots on it as seen in the vid&I wonder if the bike just let off up top since he was so far ahead..either way it was awesome to see how hard that Lambo was pulling,I cant even imagine going that fast in a car,Id be screaming like a little girl(ask ItalianStallion about the ride in his CTS-V where I was yelling at him to slow down lol!!) I just feel much more comfortable going that fast on 2 wheels vs. four

I can only imagine how light the front end feels at those speeds. I was scared $#@!less doing 130+ on my Hurricane 600 in the 90's

The Gallardo was rwd and was having massive traction issues that entire day from what I heard. Trust me, to go through traction issues and still be near that bike speaks for itself. Traction problems handicap a car tremendously.

Gustav said they were spinning the rear tires above 150mph on the bumpy surface. the Gallardo would've walked all over it with traction + brake boosting or at a higher speed

Bull. Think bikes don't have traction problems? They have like a 2" contact patch, if that. That Lambo will never "walk all over" that bike, unless someone messes up shifting.

I remember watching the 258MPH turbo 'Busa from the starting line at Texas mile. Thing was laying rubber in the first 4 gears even with a "boost by gear" setup!

I've ridden some very very fast bikes in my day, turbo,NA,nitrous&unless you have ridden a turbo 300rwhp GSXR-1000 or a 500rwhp turbo Busa one cannot describe just how hard&quickly they accelerate. It's very safe to assume(I can pretty much guarantee it) that the stock wheelbase GSXR in the vid is not on full boost in the first 3 gears as it would just flip right over or blow the tire away,so its holding back for most of that run..if it was stretched&could put down full power w/out wheelying it would literally run away from that Lambo until 210 or so mph where the car would pass it&continue on to 260mph or whatever they run

    Nope, searching now!

That 1.3L is incredible. No wonder it's one of the main choices for the NHRA drag bikes.....
