whats the area under that curve? just wondering, because it has about 900 rpm worth of usable power. Not to sound like an ass, but I think that setup needs to be rethought unless the car is purpose build drag with custom transmission gear ratios so you wont fall out of powerband between shifts.

If this was just an inertia dyno then he really isn't putting enough load to spool it properly. Definitely has some power though. Are they going to use a 2-step or nitrous to help spool it?

Correct. This is Jdmas from bfc dyno sheet. He has run 10's with his car before this power level. He let off at 6300 rpms on the dyno. I'm sure his redline is a bit higher, and I believe 5mall5nails can explain more about this setup as he knows the owner of the car. Also helped with the tuning of it some what. What I'm happy to see here is that the stock s52 cams can make massive power along with the m50 intake manifold. 30psi 900whp o-ring'd block with stock head gasket. Compression on the motor is 10.1.

Right. It did that on a 600 - 650 rwhp dyno. He's from NY - I am sure John will gladly run you if you want.

Need some more details on this car. Anyone have the slip from the run on the previous setup where it went low 10's and that dyno as well?

Does he have anything other than a Dynomite dyno to show? They tend to read higher.

Would like to put this on the front page but need more details, pics, etc.

Actually they tend to read lower. Its a full interior E36 w/ a cage. Ready for this part? Its running a Megasquirt 1 that I built for him lol. Thing is just solid.

All the ones I have seen have read higher. This one might read lower, I don't know, just going based on my experience.

If someone could get the slip for this car on the previous setup that would be great as all as the previous dyno to compare to this one.

    yerp

Oh snap. I love the megasquirt. Been following it since bowlding and grippo first came out with open source back in early 2000s. they have the MS3 now which is tits. I really like the unit because its so cheap and universal.

The VR6 big single turbo powerband certainly is far more impressive.
