nice, amazing how easily these evos can make amazing track numbers. and the awd is awesome at a road course, they really have an edge on the exits. im always pitted against evos and subis, also sometimes v8 guys in the mix but they usually hang at the 1/4th track instead. but i assume a full built block? and thats on race gas, even tho his pump numbers weren't that much off.

Yes, fully built. It runs 9s with just 93 octane, no meth, no nitrous, no weight reduction, and has one of the easiest engines to service ever. I was really considering getting one but I really wanted a turbo I6 and I think they are kinda ugly vs other sports cars, but still better looking than most normal cars. You can change rods/ pistons with the engine in the car! Just pop the head and oil pan off, not fair....

Yep. Every time I watch this video it makes me happy. Something about a crazy manual car ripping through the gears.... you get to see the torque let up and then hit again.... and the sound!

Seriously? You mean respected them enough to let them have a drink of water from your pets bowl and then threw them outside half naked while you went and made yourself a sandwich. Bonus points if you got her to make you the sandwich and then threw her out along with all her $#@! just as the sprinklers came on.

Even if the DCT GTRs were in the 8's I wouldn't care. This guy is manually shifting the EVO himself and just watching that thing squat after shifts and tear through the gears makes it much more impressive in my eyes.

Same reason I love that Boost Logic Supra 6-speed that traps 180+MPH. Click here to enlarge

That car is David Buschur's car. I doesn't have AC and it has EVERY light weight mod for the EVO (no bumper beams, no oil cooler, light suspention , light brakes , etc, etc ,etc....) probably weighs around 2800 lbs.
Yes, very impresive, just wanted to clarify the AC thing.

If he got it to 2800lbs the way it looks in the video then I'm very impressed! They give the impression that all stock features were retained, such as the HVAC system.

    Thanks for the heads up!
