In most cases race fuel can do more harm then good then pump gas on a pump tune. Our 93 is pretty good quality.

You won't gain any HP if not losing unless you have the race gas tune.

    Edit: Just saw Bren's post.

VP MS109 is oxygenated but I think perfect combustion is a slightly different A/F ratio than 93 pump gas..... But I'd say unless you have a really weird tune you should be equal or a bit more power with the MS109 because oxygenated fuel is like a really really small shot of nitrous.

It was WAY more fun to drive around the streets, and the M3 does indeed feel REALLY slow in any gear if your under 4500rpm. Now, if I put the two side by side in a race with the 335 being on race gas, meth, and high boost then the M3 will most likely get beat (epecially if I ran it from a 20mph roll, the M3 would get mopped). Though, without race gas and on a normal street map (which for me was map 8 on my old JB3 which was like 16-17psi I think) I do think the M3 will be even at low speeds and start pulling away upstairs.

What I do love about the M3 is that the power is always there (no significant heat soak as opposed to the 335) and it is VERY consistent, but you cannot argue the toruqe/power 335's make when worked the right way.

So far, I havent lost to a N54 with my M3 (but everytime I race a worked N54 I know that can change because the speed of two FBO N54's can be drastically different based on the TUNE they run lol I have to say I am a JB fan, and the map). And against FBO+RaceGas N54's I've been even on the street and slightly outrapped one at the track, and on pump I've pulled a little on FBO+pump N54's....THOUGH, I am not one of those ignorant M3 owners who thinks my $#@! dont smell against N54 owners.............whenever a guy with worked N54 wants to run I always see myself as the underdog for somereason, mainly because I always remember how fast my previous car was and the damage I did with it.....ok end of story I think weve all ready about the 335 vs m3 bull$#@! for long enough.

Also, me, izzy, zim, and a bunch of other guys rented out ATCO next tuesday so we will have ALOT of videos both @ the track and on the street. My buddy matt is coming with his FBO 335, its a blast running him because its always a close race (hopefully he didnt install his meth kit so its still a close race! lol)......well make sure to get vids and post them !
Well there we have it! Someone who actually owned BOTH cars. Bravo! Great post!

Blaize...if this race goes down please let me know since I'd love to see it for myself. I can even be the camera chase car since I'm pretty sure my GT-R will keep up lol.

A tuned 335 will still have much more power at all times.
