    RB turbo's JB4 Map 7 dyno results

Put my car on a dynojet today.
    FBO
    RB turbos
    Map 7 16.5psi
    93 octane
    Single M7 nozzle 50/50 mix
Ambient temp 97 degrees! 58% humidity

    415.17rwhp
    412.13wtq

Waiting on them to email me the .drf dyno file so i will post that once I get it. I was hoping for a little higher numbers but it was so hot out today I guess i need to wait for cooler temps. I will be installing an m10 nozzle and will use 110 octane plus up the boost to 19.5psi next week when I go back to the dyno.

not bad numbers, just concerned with the top end drop off, i assume that's because of whatever your map 7 was programmed to do, and taper boost at redline? do you have a stock turbo, FBO dyno on the same dyno to compare? again, thanks for posting your result, look forward to more.

Unfortunately I don't, all I have from this dyno is some old runs with the Procede on pump gas no meth.. And yes Map 7 does start to taper after 5500rpms. I am going to try out some custom maps next week.

no biggie man, extrapolating the dyno to figure which line is 7k(redline), and working in 500rpm increments back, i assume you make peak torque at ~34-3500 revs? posting the procede, pumpgas, no meth dyno could be beneficial. i'd be interested to see an overlay of the spool time. and the top end drop off difference.

This was done in slightly cooler temps though and that 394rwhp run I think was a fluke it doesn't look right..so I just went by the other two runs. And I will take a better pic of the sheet and upload it, they were supposed to email me the results but they still haven't...

Yea the high temps killed ya, if you do a custom map you won't have that bad of a drop off... I made 412 on map 2 but temps were in the 50's when I was fully bolted+ rb's

that seems about right man, gotta remember 16.5 is just starting to show what these suckers can do. i beleive i made 414 and 422 on 15.5/16 psi race/meth, so your right about there. pluse id like to see the JB log to know what boost you actually hit.

and FWIW, Map 7, just as you ran, was my first run of the at the track day and ran 11.4@123,
