    Yeah I have heard figures of 141 for the Veyron, I'm assuming the K is somewhere around 138 or so. Brutal cars for bone stock.

    I never understood why Koenigsegg CCXR can't do more than 400 Km/h, it's as powerful as Veyron, much lighter and million times more aerodynamics than Veyron, Actually a 7-Series is more aerodynamics than Veyron.

    Maybe it can? I'm not sure if the top speed was tested like it was with the Bugatti. Also, the tires on the Bugatti are specially made for it's top speed.

    I agree though. I'd think it could be at least as fast as it.

    There is a CCXR in development that will run on Bio Fuel or some $#@! that will be Fastest in the world, lets not forget at top speeds being lightest is not the best at 270mph you need to hug that road and Aero dynamics alone will not be enough.

    I think the CCXR has the option of pump or Ethanol "biofuel" where it goes up to 1100+bhp. I doubt they used this fuel in russia. Maybe it was a different model than the CCXR though.

    How about that Agera R? Can't wait to see that thing perform!

    Found out Koenigsegg never found a right place to brake records.
    in other hand VW has a 10 KM straight high speed track just for braking records.

    Lol I'll take it to some of my Mexican backroads. I could almost guarantee I could find a road somewhere that I could hit 270+ on if I really tried and if the gearing was strong enough.

    The UGR TT Gallardo boys hit 200mph no prob on their highways.

    You might want to reconsider that statement. The veyron was designed to hit huge top speeds, and it does with only 1000 hp. It is very aerodynamic and gets to 260 mph with relatively not a lot of power.

    Man that's 1000HP, it's not a lot of power? lol

    I agree Veyron was designed to be stable at high speeds, I'm watching at videos and i can see it's a lot more comfortable and stable than others.
    But we can't hide that it's not aerodynamics, Veyron's drag coefficient is 0.36 at best while CCXR's is 0.29.

    They Veyron was built around a set design that they then tried to make hit the top speed record. Gordon Murray commented that for it to need to much power to hit that speed isn't very good aerodynamic engineering and he is right when comparing it against the McLaren F1.

    -During its review of the CCR's successor, the CCX, BBC television program Top Gear reported that the Koenigsegg CCR holds the fastest speeding ticket in the United States allegedly occured in May 2003 in Texas. It was supposedly 242mph (389 km/h) in a 75mph zone. The car was involved in the San Francisco to Miami Gumball 3000 Rally.

    -The driver Arthur Chirkinian was arrested and the car towed. His co-driver paid his bail and they retrieved the car from impound. While trying to catch up to the other gumballers the driver noticed smoke from the engine and his oil pressure was low. He pulled over to find his Oil cap had gone "missing" while it was impounded. Arthur Chirkinian hitched a ride to the local Volkswagen dealership where he purchased a brand new Volkswagen beetle and drove it to where his CCR was parked. He filled the CCR back up with oil and took the oil cap off the Beetle and put in on the CCR as that is the only oil cap that would fit his car. He then took off in hopes of catching everyone else, leaving a brand new Beetle on the side of the road with the doors unlocked and the key still in it . He caught up to the pack later that night in New Orleans. "

    That's some funny $#@!. He just left the beetle on the side of the road.
