    Exhaust sound level...

Hey guys, I recently bought a custom mandrel bend exhaust and it sounds great...outside. Inside it's a little loud and I know it's only going to get louder when Click here to enlarge my c@tless dps get here...so I'm wondering what I can do to reduce the sound output a bit...I was told I could get a high flow resonator put on...is that the best option? How much will it reduce and where are some good vendors to find one? Anyone have any video of this? As always thanks!

Too heavy for an already heavy BMW. Just buy some ear plugs. Easiest and msot cost effective. Resonators suck.

Yea man. Dynamat is HEAAAVVVYYYYY. Think about it, it prevents vibration so the material itself is very thick and dense.

Dynamet weights .52 cents / SQ foot. You need anywhere from 100-200 sq feet to finish a trunk.

Would it be worth the money to just go find someone with a stock exhaust and trade + cash? And how much louder will it get inside with the dps? haha this is my daily driver and I don't want to eventually hate the sound... Click here to enlarge
