    Modded M3 DCT vs ESS VT1-535 M3 6MT

Ran into a blown m3 last night, we did a couple runs........mods for each car:

My (camera) Car: 2011 M3 DCT, Full Gintani Catless Exhaust (sport), MS pulley, MS filter, RPI scoops, No tune yet

    slowestZ (other) Car: 2011 M3 6MT, Gintani Race Axle-back, ESS VT1-535 Blower

First race, 20ish-130ish....both cars spinning through first:

Second race, 20ish-100ish...both cars spinning again:

its obvious hes putting down more power....DCT was the only thing letting me hang.

    enjoy

At the end of the 2nd video when he blows past you, were you off the throttle or that was just his top end pull?

You're 200lbs heavier? How'd you manage that, did you have 2 guys with you in your car? How many passengers did he have?

It was him and his girlfriend in his car, and me and one of my buddies in my car - both of us 200+, with him prob 150-160 and his girl like 110....idk I'm not good at assessing weights LOL, but yeah we definitely had around 200lbs more

Jeeze dude, without a tune? Wow, the VT-1 is pretty damn mellow but that is practically on life support.

The manual really won't strut it's stuff until past 100 and that driver sure seemed like his shifting was hurting him. This is a classic example of DCT making up for horsepower.
