The gear ratios are right there, yes, I'm sure.

    Read this: http://www.bimmerboost.com/showthrea...on)-vs.-Manual

People have tried to pull this DCT has a huge advantage in efficiency stuff before, the same people trying to pull it now.

The advantage is shift speed and consistency, maybe a tenth per shift but you are gaining ET more than MPH. The disadvantage is heat and power handling. Manual is more efficient and geared better up top for the M3.

Exactly, 6 mph is insanity but the gap will really be in elapsed time. So while the DCT is not gaining in gear, it can gain on a stronger car when that car has to shift. So while one is not accelerating, the other is.

Bingo, because you aren't shifting as much and actually in gear the manual has a 2% advantage.

i mean the whole bad day thing looks like a joke to me, the HPF car was running 130+, the GTR ran 125 mph. whats up with the ESS cars?

I think you should buy me lunch. I mean, I warned you about the stroker motor when that was on top of your list, then when you came here and saw that failure fiasco and accepted S/C'ing it, i warned you about the dyno games ESS plays. Arent you glad you found a reputable company that doesnt play games Click here to enlarge
