    The car he ran was prepped EXTREMELY well to do a 11.1@121, wow.

    Cool how he caught and passed it. Multiple camera angles were great!

    He is a member here I sent him the link. When he made those passes it was on a gt30r turbo on the euro s50 motor. He currently has a different setup which I believe makes some where in the 900-1000whp range, but hasn't had the time for the track as of late.

    Does he have dynos of the new setup? Any idea what the specs are?

    A shame about not having time for the track....

    Sticky, thanks for the comments. I bought the car in October 2000 and immediately had the turbocharger conversion done. The engine was the OEM S50B32 3.2 litre DVANOS inline 6 and the turbo was a Garrett GT30R with 1.06 hotside. The car ran full street exhausts (cats and mufflers), pump unleaded fuel and through the OEM IRS and gearbox.

    I'll start a thread with the details when I've got a bit of time.

    The M Coupe has taken a back seat since 2006 when I started my family but the project will resume when I've got some free time.

    Yes my friend Jason. We tried to always line up against each other and had many enjoyable races! He is running a Mopar Centura sedan with a modded 406" smallblock, tricked auto tranny and 28" slicks. His rig gets out of the hole very well with the live axle and tall slicks, almost always getting a large advantage on my IRS car. However my superior horsepower becomes evident by half track and then it's a fascinating duel in the top end. Makes for fun racing!
