nah its the regular seat, I really thought he stripped the passenger and rear seat but I watched the first run like 100 times and its pretty clear its just a regular black leather oem seat just reclined real low..

drew usually puts in the videos when he does weight reduction (usually puts on his mod list "rear seats removed" etc...), but im pretty sure its there

its wierd how in some runs the GTR vs M3 and GTR vs Z06 that they are both even, but in other runs the GTR pulls away easily...guess starting speed/gear for the GTR makes a big difference?

Very impressive runs for the M3. That GT-R is $#@!ing ridiculous. The Z06 is a monster too, for just having those minors mods. The 458 is such a beauty. The Corvettes need a DCT type transmission badly, as those manuals are their weakest point it seems. They fall behind way too much every time they shift. If they had a DCT they would rape so much more......

"All the cars are at or near full weight, M3 has no rear head rests, (7lbs.), they were removed for a clear shot on video."

^just saw that in the videos description..

Pretty sure it is there based on what? He has pulled it before, additionally, he runs a lightweight battery and pulls the rears.

Yep, DCT's make a HUGE difference. The vettes would be scary with a dual clutch.

He isnt coming on this site anymore for fair reason. Another subject not for this thread.

Car did great, very strong. I expected the GTR to be stronger but I believe the owners friend stated on another site that the car is setup for the road course and has a bunch of aftermarket bodykit pieces for downforce which would slow it down at higher speeds a bit.

The GTR was running 91 Oct, passenger, hug wing downforce slowing the car on top end. On top of all that boost issues. So the car was faster slower slower faster. lulzy.

Drew's car 100% had no weight reduction in this video other than the rear headrests removed, which is a WHOPPING 7 pounds.

Just watched this video for a second time, beyond impressed with the performance of that car.

I'm specifically referring to the person, has nothing to do with the car.

DCT supercharged M3's are beasts, have been saying this forever.

He has a lightweight bettery, rear seats were likely pulled for runs as has done previously. These are the types of things he does...
