    Didn't wiseguy do a cog setup. Can't remember that far back. I do the custom parts and everything looks well done. Maybe get a cog setup idea from that? Just a guess. I wishhe wouldn't finished that. Sometime I miss the linar power sc with the Ms. If I had a solid build motor setup for s54 setup before hpf I probably wouldve done it but my research and talks with people seem like dead end or more the. Hpf. So hpf it was and I never looked back.

    If I could go turbo I would, but I can't. I just want to do the best SC setup I can.

    I don't think hardware was much of problem for him. I think DA was $#@!img around with him. Who knows. Tuning maybe. That's were most projects die. My fingers are crossEd for you.

    So no stroker? Probably wasn't even worth it. Now get moving and let's see this thing. Shred the roads and silence haters!!!

    Exactly, I thought about it but really this is going to come down to how much boost I can cram in from an SC.

    I know the tuning will be a factor, trust me. I'm hoping they will have it all sorted and Gintani is really looking like the only company willing to tackle Stage 3+ built motor E92 M3's.

    just go T trim. it will be more than enough, LESS headaches and will get you where you want to be, and IF you want more, later you can try to figure out the other setup

    It won't be more than enough. Tightie is currently going the T-trim route but I still don't think that setup is completed.

    To really have this thing do what I want it to do I will need the bigger blower.

    T trim Kinda big. I'm all for the ysi tho!! You and tightie Need to get these cars out there. E92 growing on me. Doing $#@! right takes time tho. I agree gintani are the only one doing built motors.

    Wish the marketed alot better!! I mean alot.

    T-trim was big for the S54, but even a YSI could be done on the S54 so I think it's the right choice for a built motor S65. Trust me man, I'll get it out there ASAP. I want nothing more than to take this car to the strip, do comparisons, 60-130's, hell, I may even take it on the ring.

    I don't know if it is quite this simple, but it sounds like a Procharger setup might the answer to everyone's belt slipping problems:

    From a plumbing standpoint a ProCharger F1-R is equivelant. 4" inlet, 3" outlet and a 9.75" volute. The F1-R can flow 400 cfm more air so it has some 250+ hp more potential. It is also self contained. The YSi uses a 3.45:1 transmission ratio, the F1-R a 5.40:1. What this means is that for any given airflow level the ProCharger will use a larger driven blower pulley. This increases area and belt wrap helping you obtain your desired boost without slip. As an example a common crank pulley diameter for an LT1 is 7". Say you want to drive the supercharger to 50,000 rpm @ 6600 engine rpm.

    YSi blower pulley diameter - 3.18"

    F1R blower pulley diameter -5.00"

    57% larger diameter for the F1-R at the same speed. This does wonders for belt traction and it is precisely why it was developed.

    DCT Build Part XI - Final pictures of finished M3 DCT pan

    In the previous weeks we brought you the details on the DCT oil pan upgrade and the pictures of the machining process. We are happy to say the final design has been completed and here are the pictures of the finished product. Once again, this will allow 2 additional liters of fluid as well as the capability to connect to an external cooling source as you can see from the openings. Pricing details for the complete DCT cooling kit as well as components will be coming next, stay tuned.

    Yes, getting a custom transmission built that nobody has ever done takes a wile. I'm patient, not a big deal.

    The engine has to be installed, then a supercharger chosen, then the tuning. I may also stroke the motor which would add time, we will see.
