Best question is what is your budget? Yes the crank is forged, and any of the rods you mentioned should be able to take you to the goal with the pistons you have mentioned. You will not be getting 1000hp on the stock dme. You should look into dta standalone, or VEMS among others. If you are located in the US contact Max Psi for parts, or AR design on the forums here. Both sell all the parts you would need. Its not going to come cheap.

    thanks for reply!
about my budget, I would like to build a engine with +/- 18k
    what you think?
about engine managment dta standalone - its easy installation? because I stay in brazil
    I could use Fueltech, would be easier for me, fueltech accept this cranks sensors: 60-2 , 36-2 , 36-1 ,48-2, 30-1, 30-2, 24-1 12-1
you know that the sensor uses M52B28 engine?

    thanks again

What are your power goals? Dta will be plug and play via Max Psi. I have never heard of fueltech.

You are looking to build 1000hp Street car. A gt42r can be used the transmission will hold 1000bhp, but I'm not sure for how long. Do you have pics of the car this is going into? You should also think about having the rear fenders pulled to fit tires that will help with traction.

I also suggest getting a AR design manifold(they are supporting vendors on this forum), or the Steed Speed manifold.

AR design also makes a top mount, but I'm not sure about the price. CES sells the Steed Speed manifold for 1000 dollars. Cheaper then both others mentioned.

The 666 fabs are great manifolds, there are a number of OBX knockoffs of that manifold that have gotten good reviews as well.

Personally I'd go steed speed with a scavenge setup if only for the simplicity of the manifold install. Fitting a big turbo may just mean getting a BFH (big ___ hammer) and working on the floor pan a bit.

I have a set of Pauter rods I picked up recently and they look sick, I'm just not sure what mode of failure our rods usually take at these power levels (they use a + style beam design) so I don't know which (I, H, x, +) is really going to be most effective. I can say nothing I throw at these rods will fail them.

I will soon, and it won't be what you're expecting sadly, but I feel I've finally made the right choice for myself.

Trigger wheel pattern is 60-2, or if you want it like this 60-2+1. That +1 is "home" signal from your intake camshaft, and you'll have to use it if you want to run fully sequential fuel injection and direct fire ignition.

Go with AR Design or Steed Speed for the manifold, stay away from VAC.

I was thinking of using a M50 head for eliminate VANOS, and only use the phonic wheel ( 60-2)
probably I will use spark lost system

I think I will need one top mount manifold because of the size of the GT42R or no ??

other question, some sugestion for the intake manifold? have some intake for the E36 like the 2JZ style? i love it !

    thanks for attention
