Stock PSI and Stage 1 PSI

I guess this is a question for Terry @ BMS - What the the Factory PSI output of the N55 Turbo - Then how much is it increased with Stage 1. If in fact you can increase the PSI output, more than is programed in the Stage 1, I would be a willing to pay for a new module and be a candidate to tryout an N55 Stage 1 with a boost increase of 5 - 5.5psi. Should any mechanical problem occur, I would do this at my own risk. Being disabled - Time is the one thing I have plenty of to test it out.

If Dinan can take an " is " model and produce over 400 hp then the engine can handle the increase in power.

The "is" model is the N54, is it not? You're comparing 2 different motors.

Does anyone have a reccomendation for a dealer in the DC/Baltimore region that would "work with me" to get the new DME (2.40.1 or higher)?

Yes. Looks like it's best to get it done before installing JB for the best gains.

JB really doesn't matter too much as you can remove it whenever you want. If getting a flash tune best to update at BMW before you get the tune.
