No, some of the MB are using these systems and no issues that I have heard of. Ford, Chevy, ect guys have been using them for a while now.

They are AMG reps, made by OEM Wheels Plus. I actually like the look of these, cleaner lines that the real AMG's and the off sets are way better with the real AMG wheels you really need to run...

But the 20 lbs 22" wheel would have tire that weighed much less that the 20 lbs 17" wheel if both where the same over all height, so less weight at the outer edge right ?
