in my old e90 the seats got uncomfortable around the 2-2.5 hour mark. Did a 3.5 hour straight drive in the mustang and was perfectly comfortable. Wasn't really anticipating that.

It's funny, because i'm sure the majority of the N54 user base feels special for buying a 6+ year old BMW with 60k+ miles for <$25k. BUT OH MY GOD IT'S A BMW.

par for the course for the VW market. A MK6 GTI APR Intercooler was a cool $1050USD. A mk7 GTI (no-r yet) intake from APR is $450, downpipe $750.
You have to accept what the mustang is and what the m4 is. The Boss is still a Ford. The m4 is still a bmw. The m4 is a luxury sport car that performs really well, while still having all the creature...

the truth hurts sometimes.

well the s65 is a superior engine to the n54. Who needs low end torque when you have that top end HP and revs for days.

1. 2jz vs n54 on bimmerboost
2. Argue until death
3. Argue s65 vs n54
4. Tons of Neg reps

there is the chance I could be incorrect. You certainly know way more about BMWs than I do. I just went based off of the wiki articles for both the BMW n54 and the BMW x6, both of which say the n54...

The X6 xDrive35i did, before being replaced by the n55. The 50i had the n63
I can't see any company with an existing user base on other platforms coming to the n54 after all these years to release the typical knockoff parts, like downpipes, chargepipes, intercoolers (and...

I think the market for the n54 is much bigger than most people think. Think of all the cars it came in, 135, 335, m1, 535, z4, x6, etc.
There are a $#@! load of 3 series made every year, even if...

eh, MMP wasn't exactly a boy scout on these forums, i wouldn't put the total blame on Tony.

add on that it's AWD, would definitely be a fun winter/snow toy.

problem is all vendors have their fanboys on their knees for them. So for each time Vendor A gets a neg rep for being an assclown, someone will give them a pos rep to even it out.
07-09-2015, 07:56 PM
majority of the vendors can handle themselves like adults. There are a lot of vendors on this board outside of the n54 board, but it's hard to tell because they don't feel the need to go into every...

totally, i'll send over pp next week

not sure how active you are on this forum, and while I do agree with you on the surface, this $#@! gets old when it's in every thread relating to intakes and turbos for the n54.
07-09-2015, 05:37 PM
This $#@! is so lame. grown ass men acting like 5 year old brats. Can Terry set up a "how to represent your business on a forum" training for vendors?
I'd gladly take every other n54 thread being...
