The AFR is still very rich and that's not the only aspect changed.
We run less ignition timing targets and this brings down the EGT's. It is EGT's that burn out valves.

I think you are confusing this with wheel HP somehow.
This is not a 700rwhp suggestion by Dinan, it's crank HP. It's on an engine dyno which is measuring crank HP as it's attached to the crank.
