    You can update whatever you want, but there are bmw "integration" levels for a reason. If you have for example version 35 dct software running with version 20 dsc software you can run into problems....

    Definitely make sure you are on the latest software from bmw. If you have not been updated since mid 2013 then you have old software. Keep in mind the trans, dsc, jbe, gws, and dme all work...

    I tried his formula of shifting at 5200-5300 and cranking boost down low. Similar results, lots of boost, car hauls. It takes more PWM for me to make the same boost he does though.
