Thanks for that information. I thought high-speed balancing is a standard method, since it's also done on the OE turbos. So low speed balancing is below OE specs, is that right?

M4 has flat torque from 3k rpm on, so it feels equally strong in almost every rev-range.
Whereas the single turbo kicks in at 4 or 4.5k rpm but on a much higher level... old-style turbo...

Right, for a turbo charged system the N54 has almost no lag. But compared to a super-responsive NA Engine (S54, S65,...) it is still laggy..it needs 2-3s for full boost! Thats why the new M4/S55 or...

The other way around: I dont want to lose much of the quick spool and response the stockers have, so the questions remains which turbine und compressor configuration fits best for that.

So spool up and response largely depends on the turbine size and blade configuration? That being said, would your stage 1 with the billet option be quicker than stock?

Since Vargas und Rob are comming up with new hybrids that have larger compressors, that yield to more power and torque, but also cost spool up and response.
