Havenīt looked into the steering in detail but there are many S85 swaps into the E30 with the stock headers so it canīt be a big issue. Here is one with many details...

I have for sale an S50B32 engine with a supercharger and watercooled intake. Was running it in my E30 M3.
If you are not going for boost you can regrind the stock crank for 5.4L.
Yes. ///M has done it as an experiment.
Iīm installing this combo in my E30 M3 soon.
Well, the engine has been done before and fits fine.
DCT however, hasnīt been done yet so that is going to be an adventure.
Nothing that a grinder and a sledgehammer wont fix.
Dismantling continues. The guy that bought the old cage came over today and we ripped it out along with other stuff.

Paul seems to have been an excellent guy and sad to see him go too soon.
However, the $#@! is right about the F&F films, they are crap. Borderline
painful to watch.
Maybe because itīs not in German??? :D
Not much happening yet, should change in the new year.
Then I will strip the car completely and soda blast it.
Then "cancer" removal and new material welded in plus
the cage from Custom cages. ...
